Condition Scale

At Golfstixvalueguide.com we rate your golf clubs in three different categories: Above Average, Average or Below Average condition. Please use the following descriptions to help correctly identify the type of condition your clubs are in.

New - New or Shop Worn Condition. These clubs have never been used and are either in the wrapper or out of the wrapper in "shop worn" condition.

Average - These clubs are in used condition, but have been taken good care of and do not show major wear or markings. The majority of clubs that our customers trade-in tend to be in this condition. The faces, soles and top line of the golf clubs are expected to be in this condition considering their age. There are no major dings or nicks on the golf clubs, just normal light wear.

Below Average - These clubs have experienced heavy use and often have skymarks, dings, nicks, shaft burns, paint nicks, groove loss or browning on the face. The clubs are still in playable condition and do not have any broken shafts, cracked or dented heads or any other feature that affect the clubs performance.
